We are looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to work on a part time basis, 5 days a week (10am to 2pm) at our site on Gillingham Business Park.

The successful candidate will be part of small but busy team who are responsible for ensuring that all goods movements are controlled efficiently and in line with business and customer requirements. The role comprises of the following:

Control the effective movement of all Materials Ensure all Customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time, with relevant collection/export documentation completed. Ensure the integrity of all stock input into AX for Production Receipts and Stock Adjustments. Ensure the Logistics Manager and Logistics Supervisor are kept informed on all key issues. Assist in the development of all department systems and procedures to improve quality and reduce costs. Applicants should have:

Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in an inventory control or logistics administrator role is essential (preferably in a manufacturing environment) Knowledge of ERP/MRP software essential (Microsoft AX desirable) Analytical and methodical, fact based and strategic mindset, Sets clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress and results. Attention to detail, seeking 100% accuracy at all times Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Work well under pressure, ensuring that all requests, tasks and duties are carried out to a high standard and within given deadlines
