Machinery Operator

Location: Somerset.

Salary and Benefits Package:

Accommodation could be made available as part of the package, if you are looking to relocate to the area.

Salary of 35,000 if no accommodation needed.

Salary of 27,000 if accommodation is needed.

The Company:

Our client is a fast growing, multi award winning business providing sustainable, higher welfare beef supply chain solutions.

Working on recently upgraded machinery to a high spec, and provide a reliable working environment.

In addition, there is always the chance to get involved with other aspects of the company, assisting with weighing and vaccinating of cattle and getting involved with trial work.

The Job:

We are seeking a Machinery Operator for a specialist beef cattle development farm based in Somerset.

You will be responsible for:

Bedding up and feeding the beef cattle.

Routinely muck out sheds ready for new batches.

Machinery maintenance.

Some record keeping in line with daily activities.

There is the option to have more of a mixed role, working with the health of the cattle if interest is in that area.

You will have:

Farm Machinery operations experience.

Excellent attention to detail.

Livestock farming experience - ideally with cattle.

Be a team-player and able to get involved with the team.
