The requirement for you as a Process Engineer is to help assess and mitigate all potential hazards to ensure the project phase runs smoothly and safely and ensure support to definition of the removal procedure. Are you an experienced engineer with a degree in chemical engineering or able to demonstrate an equivalent engineering discipline?Do you have previous experience of dealing with chemical and chemotoxic hazards?Are you interested in becoming part of a well-established engineering contractor where you will have the opportunity to liaise with a team of highly skilled chemical specialists, working on projects across the UK and world? If these apply to you, then read on to find out more information and get in touch now to avoid missing out on such an amazing opportunity!Your duties and responsibilities will be:As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing the potential contents of the tanks from the perspective of: Explosion Hazards (DSEAR assessment)Chemical Hazards (Chemotoxic assessments)You will be required to engage closely with a range of stakeholders and specialists. You will have the following qualifications & experience: You will need to be degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline)You will need to be able to demonstrate a proactive and driven approach to work.Good communication skills and ability to work with other team members and engineering disciplines.You will need competent report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings.You will need to be comfortable with working under time and cost constraints.Previous experience of dealing with chemical and chemotoxic hazards. It's great if you also have the following: Ideally you will have experience of nuclear industry design delivery.Experience with site checking and approval procedure.DSEAR/ hydrogen management experience.
