This is a very old replica of a fire station as a novilty item. It was purchased from a collectors' sale after the man passed. The seller said he had collected for sixty years. the era of the fire truck is approximately 1914 to 1916. Nothing but metal was used in the construction, 100% steel. All the doors in the building open & close and all the fixtures, including the truck, is fastened, solid, to the unit body. It is a viewing piece, NOT a toy. Even the wheels and tires are steel, and completely hand-made! The unit is 16" wide, 5" deep, 13 1/2" high, and mounted on a 5" by 7" base. I've had it for about four years and have found absolutely nothing on the internet to compare it to. I have no idea of the maker. Possibly only one-of-a-kind but the quality appears to be "factory-made". $100
