1944 FL knucklehead matching belly numbers clean Montana title. Excellent start to a very rare motorcycle made during world war 2. Only 172 of these made in 1944 due to focus on the war. This is a civilian model FL  “knucklehead”  Top end is off early 1937,38 knucklehead with a 1936 front cylinder and 1944 rear cylinder. M-5 carburetor is on the bike with the correct rebuilt M-35 to go with.Frame is in excellent condition comes with a set of 41-46 gas tanks green and white and the original right side black gas tank that appears to be original paint.Also have original 1944 rebuilt transmission ready to go in date code D-4. Few things needed to complete inner and outer primary clutch and generator, shift gate and foot linkage. Front fork is 1941-42 Bike is in NW Montana I would deliver a state or two depending on how far or meet somewhere. Otherwise pick up only will not ship.
