　　ENGINE:

　　- I've put less than 3,000 miles on the rebuilt engine (just drive it on weekends in the Winter, then just start it up in the Summer). I have changed the oil every 1,000 miles on the new engine, so 3 times.

　　- I just had the valves adjusted about 250 miles ago.

　　- Has an external oil cooler that is actually meant for a big V8 engine and has a 10" electric fan that is hooked up by a thermal switch. Thermal switch has an inline blower inside the turbo hatch (big blower is for boat motor compartments) and gets all the heat and fumes out of the turbo hatch.

　　- Aero motive fuel pump feeds the motor through hard lines.

　　- New Magnaspark Digital Distributor Kit (runs smooth at high RPMs), you can tune it with a laptop

　　- An AS41 case with forged crank

　　- Chromoly h-beam rods

　　- Mahle pistons

　　- Ported CB street eliminator heads

　　- Aluminum sheet metal intake for the side draft setup holding a machined Holley 390 cfm.

　　- Has a 3" down pipe with a stainless Camco muffler, so it has a very raspy, throaty sound that turns heads.

　　- Tranny is basically stock, slightly beefed with billet side covers.

　　- Stage 3 Kennedy cutch.

　　- Has been Dyno tuned, but has not done a Dyno pull, guessing around 200hp with the turbo.

　　- I've clocked it at 14.5 seconds on the quarter mile.

　　TURBO:

　　- New "sleeper" turbo, custom sized and built by Doug's Bugs & Bunnies VW Specialists in Mesa (I have all the receipts). Turbo is .59 in size, in case you are wondering.

　　- Adds 5 pounds of boost at 3,500 rpm's

　　- It is hidden behind the back seat.

　　- Installed dense thermal foil topped padding on turbo hatch, which also has sound deadening pads and rubberized spray.

　　- 1.5" turbo headers to the turbo

　　EXTERIOR:

　　- Completely new front end also done by Doug's: new axel, brakes, drums, drop spindles, lowered, everything. Handles really, really well around tight turns.

　　- This is a very straight and rust-free car, body taken off and gone through 8 years ago and painted VW "Harvest Moon Beige".

　　- Empi 5 spokes, 135's in front with new drum brakes, rears are 165's with disc brakes. All new master lines and custom aluminum reservoir. Never going to leak again.

　　- New stock wiring harness with all new components shrink tubed in. All electrical is in working order.

　　INTERIOR:

　　The interior is brand new:

　　- Has dense thermal foil topped padding on floor, roof and turbo hatch, which also has sound deadening pads and rubberized spray.

　　- New grey carpet

　　- New headliner

　　- New gauges: Turbo Boost, Engine Temp & Oil Pressure

　　- New ash tray cup holder (I also have new regular ash tray)

　　- New gas gauge and floater in tank

　　- Pretty much everything works, there are a bunch of other odds and ends I've fixed, can't list them all. There's really nothing else to fix, except the speedometer, which went out recently, have not had time to rebuild it. If you care, you can have it done for $85 in Tempe. I have the number of the mechanic who does it.
