Early 1975 CZ 400, pre  Falta replica production. This bike was taken down to the bare frame and completely re-built and modifiedfor use as an expert level vintage motocross racer using all the best parts available.  The motor was converted to a reed valveinduction design by Bertus CZ using his custom made intake manifold system. A hand built custom exhaust was made to utilizethe extra power made by the reed valve system. The frame was taken down to bare metal, and a bright blue paint was used asa tribute to the paint scheme used on many of the factory race bikes of the time. The wheels were rebuilt using Takasago Excelrims laced with Buchanan stainless spokes mounted on Pirelli tires.  Top of the line Ohlins rear shocks, CR Performance forkdamper rods, springs, and air valves. CR Performance complete race seat, allloy brake pedal, solid rear brake rod with hi performance brake panel & improved brake arm design and operation. Milled fork lowers for weight savings. Hand built alloynarrow tank with recessed center mount bolt instead of leather & metal straps. Alloy brake stay/chain guide, wrapped stainless cables for  front brake, clutch, & throttle. Custom billet bar risers & bar clamps for 'Fatbar' style handlebars. Motion Pro throttle,billet alloy brake & clutch lever perches with quick cable adjustors and easy grip levers. All this bike needs is a rider. It has beenon display inside in a dry climate controlled building since 2009 when the build was finished. I have never put gas in the tank sinceacquiring it 15 years ago.
