Very nice 1978 Suzuki GS550E. This bike is in great running condition. This bike has 6 gears. This bike has been restored from the ground up. The previous owner was in the process of bobbing the bike and cut off the rear section. I welded two pieces on for the rear fender and rear cowl. As you can see in the pictures I was off a little. That's why there is a space between the rear cowl and the seat. It's not to noticeable. There is also a small hole on either side of the rear cowl where he had turn signals mounted. Paint and decals are all original. Bike runs good with lots of power for a 550 and good throttle response. All electrical works good including the charging system. Tires are new, brakes rebuilt, front and rear. 6th gear on the display indicator does not work. It's sometimes hard to find neutral, all gears work good. I would keep this bike but it's to small for me. This bike is sold as is, where is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Ask all questions now before the end of the auction. I do not want any surprises.
