Introduced in 1980, the Fiat Panda has amassed a rich history steeped in practical design and versatility. Conceived as a compact city car, the Panda quickly gained popularity for its widespread functionality. Throughout the years, the Panda underwent several updates—all while maintaining its reputation for fuel efficiency and adaptability. The first generation of Pandas, produced until 2003, remain an icon in simplicity and reliability. 

　　One of the most notable variants in the Panda line, is the 4x4 model. Introduced in the mid-‘80s, the Panda 4x4 gained acclaim for its off-road capabilities, making it a unique option in the compact car market. The four-wheel drive and robust suspension, made it a popular choice for those seeking a small car with the ability to handle challenging terrains. 

　　Photographed here, our 1985 Fiat Panda 4x4 has been painstakingly restored with a one-off twist. With the focus of the restoration being period correct flare, the exterior is finished in Verdi Alpi and the interior has been entirely draped in (genuine) Missoni rainbow fabric—an obvious pairing of two quintessential Italian brands.
