Update to the listing : We installed the missing left side number plate and installed black backgrounds on both side plates, brake and clutch levers were replaced with new onesBike comes with original levers , some spare side covers and a replacement front numberplate background and a replacement seat cover.pics have been updated  . , Super Clean, Low Hour 1981 KX420 this super clean low hour  one owner bike is being offered for sale , please note that this bike is a 1981 KX420 this bike is 100% original except for the handlebar that was replaced this bike bike was purchased in 1980 by an older gentleman who traded in a can-am 250 for it, however this was more bike than he could handle at his age at the time so he only ride it a few times, he estimates between 10 to 15 hours on the bike . this bike has never seen a motocross track and was only ridden on mild trails.the bike is in really excellent condition! you just don't see these in this shape even the most expensive ones that sold here in the past on ebay were not as original as this bike isthe underside of the frame rails look brand new , no dings or dents, the exhaust is in near perfect condition! with no dings or dents, all the plastic is original the bike is missing the left side number plate. original DID  wheels look new still, dunlop tires on them.seat is original without blemish!original front number platethe forks still have the shiny clear coat on them evidence that this bike never saw a motocross moto of flying rocks and debris.the underside of the frame still looks new , no dents or scrapes on the frame rails.the only parts that have been replaced were the handle bars and the tank graphics.bike still runs like it was new with a nice tight sounding engine, we just went through the carb ,and replaced the jets with new ones of the same size. bike has a new fuel line and petcock seals were replaced. we also replaced the vent hoses on the carb.tires are older Dunlops possibly the original tires? it appears the date code says 1980 on the rear tire. amazingly they have no dry rot or cracks. this bike was stored in a heated shop all these years so that probably helped with the overall condition of this beast!the brakes both work as they should.also comes with the original KX track stand.the rips of the both the clutch lever an brake lever are broken off but they are still usable or could be replaced easily.  the bars are slightly bent on the left side.
