For your consideration I have a 1992 Husqvarna WXC360, first year of the big-bore water cooled 2-stroke Husky. Purchased in Feb. of '14 as a non-runner (bad ignition) and treated as a rolling restoration while under my care. Total number of hours/miles is unknown, but I've only accumulated 105 miles since I replaced the ignition. I installed a NOS Factory Enduro (WXE) kit with a trip tic at the same time. Mechanically the bike is well sorted, needing only a couple minor things. Cosmetically I would describe it as a reasonably clean "rider" or a 10-15 footer. Notable repairs and maintenance in order of occurrence: - New fork seals, bushings, and oil - clutch cable, crankcase breather, rear wheel bearings, shock bushings - Expansion chamber sent out for dent removal and cleaning service- Rebuilt front and rear brake calipers - Removed kick starter idler gear, cleaned, applied loctite, and re-torqued (preventative measure), replaced side case gasket, site glass, and shift shaft seal at the time - New seat cover, grips, and hand guards -Complete ignition system replacement (powerdynamo) including stator, flywheel, voltage regulator, coil, and plug wire -Front and rear tires with HD tubes (pirelli MT16) - New chain and sprockets - New clutch (steels, fibers, springs) and gasket -Shifter fork replaced (remedied hard shifting condition) - Reed petals replaced - FMF universal spark arrestor custom fitted/welded - New chain slider and rollers I may be forgetting some items but that just about covers it. The previous owner stated they installed a new top-end (wossner piston). I have no reason to doubt them because there is evidence of a new base gasket, the bike has very strong compression, starts easy, and the cylinder walls are very clean. Items that need attention but aren't urgent are a disintegrated shock bump stop (shock has good dampening but there is no record of a rebuild) and the carburetor intake boot has superficial cracks. It does not leak at all, but it is original. The extra parts pictured are included in the auction. Buyer will be responsible for shipping cost of these parts. Buyer can also refuse these items, but no discount or reimbursement will be given. Bike is located in Asheville, NC USA. Buyer will receive a notarized Bill of Sale and a copy of the current registration. There is no title (VT doesn’t issue titles for bikes of this size/age). As always: registration reciprocity/transfer eligibility is the responsibility of the buyer. Bike is sold as-is and where-is with no implied or expressed warranties. Shipping logistics are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will store for a reasonable amount of time assuming arrangements are made prior to end of auction. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions, thank you. Please reach out to coordinate a viewing if you wish to do so. I will do my best to accommodate any such request. I just realized my opening statement may be confusing. You’d think I would realize this since I owned an ‘84 WR 400 (water cooled).
