21' Four Winns 210 Santana 1986
21' Four Winns 210 Santana 1986

Description

Call Boat Owner Nik . Engine Rebuilt in 2011. Boat Lying in NY 14901.Ok, this is my 86 Four Winns 210 Santara. It is a 21' open bow and is

  essentially the

same thing as a Liberator, just with an open bow instead of the cuddy.

I bought this boat out of the weeds 2 years

ago as a project for myself. I would

most definitely want to keep it until I had it back to pristine condition but I

have moved to Texas. I bought the boat

with a blown motor and broken down trailer. Since then the motor is

brand new (with the exception of the heads). New block, crank,

  pistons, rods, lifters,

seals, headers, intake, ignition, carb, rockers, a lot! The motor is

bored out .20 over and has less

than 10 hours on it! Had this boat on the lake twice! It is a technically

  a Mercruiser 5.7 260hp. Basically a Chevy 350, now 352, and with the

addition of the intake and exhaust it will be well over the rated 260hp. The

boat has only ever been in fresh water since the rebuild, no salt or brackish

water has ever been ran through the new motor. The alternator

(converted to a one wire) and starter have been

completely rebuilt and are brand new. The batteries are new and have

a marine switch so that when you?re out

on the lake you always have a backup. The

entire ignition is MSD, coil, distributor, box, wires, and plugs are

all new. The gauges have all been replaced (except

speed and trim) with white face sun pro gauges (electrical) with a manual oil

pressure gauge in the engine bay for easy visual while tuning/servicing. Also

the fuel sender is new and works perfect! The Exhaust is thru hull

and sounds amazing! Especially since the

addition to the aluminum boat headers! Which cost 1800$ new!!! The intake is an

  Edlebrock performer 2701. The boat

mechanical wise has been meticulously maintained and always winterized

perfectly. Since I have easily over 3,000$ invested into just the motor you

tend to take care of it! It?s too bad I have to get rid of it L. The

motor was done by Stapleton engines in

Elmira NY. The carb is on a fresh rebuild and is a Rochester

quadrajet. The bellows and bearings are all new, as well

as the out drive impeller and gear oil. The out drive is an alpha one and I

have two different props for the boat, a steel and a stainless steel both

different pitches for doing different things. I started to work on

the interior as well as wiring up the new stereo

but this are where I stopped. With some

upholstery work and a little paint this baby would shine. The teak

with a good wash and oil looks

great. The swim deck and ladder are in great shape with no problems.

The boat has hydraulic trim tabs so it is

easy to handle with groups of people and the V hull. This boat has

all sorts of potential. It does

not lack for power in any sense that is for sure. The trailer is in

  prime shape. Tires are new

and maybe have 1,000 miles on them at best. The brake lines are new

as well as the pads and wheel cylinders. The master cylinder is brand

  new as well, as

it was replaced with the entire trailer braking system. Basically a

little investment and some TLC this

boat would be a great deal for getting a great running boat. The

cover pictured obviously goes with the

boat, it is a custom canvas cover which cost me 800$ new. It does

have a tear in it where the snow was

just too heavy and the support rod poked through, but a little stitching and it

will be good as new. The stereo has to

be wired up and installed but I have two amps, the head unit and 3 sets of

speakers that all have yet to be installed. Comes with ski?s life

vests etc. and all of the normal things which come

with a used boat. There are no major

soft spots anywhere inside the boat, I go about 240lbs and I do not have to

avoid or tip toe anywhere inside. With

that said the boat is an original 86, so it is fantastic shape if you ask me.

The out drive is the original, and is a little rough, but works fine.

It will have to be tightened up as well as

there is some side to side slop. In all

this would be a great project boat at this price. The Asking price is

  4,000$ and is fairly firm.

If I have to I will just keep the boat. I

can get 1-1.200$ for the trailer, about the same for the hull, and at least

2500$ for the motor if I were to separate so that is where I generate 4,000$

from. Any question do not hesitate to call 8 one 7 nine 4 8 three six 42 (New

Texas Number) Thanks for looking! -Nik
