This is an authentic Lance jar. Has a metal lid, is 12 inches tall when lid is on and has Lance stamped on the bottom. Lance is also embossed on the bottom of the jar.The colored letters are still in great shape! Lance has been selling snacks since 1913 & the counter top/store display jars held peanuts, pretzels, candy, crackers or cookies....These jars were found in many country stores.
