This is a very nice old primitive trunk or chest.  It is painted a faded green.  It has an old age crack on the top and an old chip out of the back as you can see at pencil point in photo.  It has someone's name painted on the front and a name and date wrote inside.  The date is 1915.  These are usually called immigrant trunks but could also be a soldier's trunk. It measures 20 1/2" x 12" x 11 3/4".  Guaranteed to be old and authentic.
