Captain Midnight is a very special, social, and fun rabbit who wants to play, snuggle, and give kisses all day and night.

　　He is a tiny 4 lb, mini-rex with a velvet, black coat.

　　We noticed his friendly personality first and runny nose next when we decided he belonged in a foster home instead of a shelter.

　　He is litter box trained and is used to being around indoor house cats.

　　He first showed off his acrobatics by jumping out of his 36" pen and into bed with his foster family to give kisses in the middle of the night.

　　He has a huge three tier condo when he can't be supervised and gets time to run around the house to play when his family is home (and awake).

　　He runs up and down stair with toys in his mouth and will run along the back of the sofa when he isn't sitting still to be petted.

　　He thanks people for petting him with kisses.

　　Captain Midnight is high energy and entertaining, but he still needs a low-stress environment and family that can provide a lot of love and attention.

　　He will need to take twice-daily antibiotics, and have occasional follow-up visits with a rabbit-savvy vet.

　　His terrific personality definitely makes up for his need for daily medication.

　　Captain Midnight is one of our lucky rabbits being fostered by a House Rabbit Society volunteer.

　　Because we do not have a shelter to introduce our foster rabbits and our volunteers have limited time to respond to all online inquiries, the best way to meet one of our rabbits is to attend our next adoption day. Sometimes people bond to a different rabbit in person than the one they choose online.

　　All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

　　Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. SHRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.
