With a very heavy heart, I’m looking to rehome my sweet 2-year-old German Shepherd, Waya. This is not a decision I ever thought I’d have to make, but due to unexpected and unavoidable moving circumstances, I can no longer provide her the stable, secure home she deserves. Waya has been my companion, my shadow, and my source of comfort through so much. She’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and loving—her favorite things are cuddling on the couch after a long walk, going on hikes, and simply being close to her person.
She’s e-collar and prong collar trained, knows all her basic commands, crate trained, and is completely housebroken. Waya was recently spayed and is in great health. She gets along wonderfully with large dogs and would thrive in a home with another big dog who matches her energy, but she CAN NOT be around small dogs or other small animals due to a strong prey drive. She’s best suited for an experienced dog owner who understands working breeds and can continue giving her the structure, attention, and exercise she needs. Letting Waya go is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. She’s not just a pet—she’s family. I’m not in a rush and will be very selective to ensure she finds a home where she will be loved and understood just as deeply as she deserves.
