Mandy's story
Mandy was owned by an elderly woman who had a stroke and the family was forced to surrender her to the shelter. Her elderly owner had been sick for awhile, so sadly Ms. Mandy wasnt getting the grooming and veterinary care she so desperately needed. She is about 15.5 yrs young. She is a very sweet and easy going gal who enjoys snuggling next to you on the couch or in her bed. She often finds her way to one of the crates and walks in for a nap. She is extremely quiet, and gets along with her boy and girl dog siblings in the house. She has been exposed to kids under 10yrs old and does fine. She spends most of her time sleeping and is not really interested in the dog toys around. She has some limited vision but makes her way around the house easily and handles the 3 steps off the deck independently. She is housebroken and has had benign mammary tumors removed along with a dental. She eats her dog food with her remaining 4 teeth and is much happier with a healthy mouth! If interested in adopting Mandy, please complete an adoption application which can be found at under the Adoption Process tab. If you have any questions about Mandy, please email [email protected]. Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file.
