Marina's story

　　Marina is an adorable three month old Hound mix from Arkansas, where she was abandoned with her brother. Marina is sweet, active, and howls like a hound dog! She loves other dogs and all people. She is crate trained already and working her way towards good house training habits as well. Marina will likely be a large dog when full grown, with lots of hound lovin to give! Marina does have a significant overbite, causing her upper jaw to stick out much further than her lower jaw. Currently, her baby canine teeth have created small indentations where they make contact with her hard palate (the roof of her mouth). She will need to be monitored closely as her adult teeth grown in, as they may cause significant trauma and pain if they hit the top of her mouth. She may need additional veterinary care which may include orthodontic correction, extraction or filing of the lower canine teeth.
