This chair was designed by Michael McCoy who at the time was Chair of the Design Department at Cranbrook Academy of Art.Hand built by John Guse and was purchased at the Cranbrook Academy of Art Auction. I am the original owner. Built from solid Oak with a black lacquer finish. The fabric on the seat is original and in excellent condition. Although not sure of material.
