Thank you for your patience.For sale here is a Nikon D3S with only 695 shutter actuations (see the photos for the Camera Shutter Count screen shot). Based on the used condition of the exterior of this camera, we think this may be a new shutter and not the original, but we do not know for sure. The shutter action does sound very clean, and similar to my pristine D3X with only 35k actuations. I am selling because I already have the D3X as well as a D4S, and with both of those, this D3S never gets any use, hence the very low shutter count. So up for sale it goes to find its next deserving owner.This camera works perfectly, minus the rear lower small LCD which shows ISO, White Balance, and Image Quality. The liquid crystal has failed as it can on these cameras, and it no longer shows any information. I was using the viewfinder and the top LCD for this information, so it did not affect my shooting. If someone wanted to replace it, the Nikon part # is 1H998-035, and it should take an experienced technician about 2 hours to swap them. Which totally might be worth it to someone for a D3S body with only 695 actuations.
