Description

  My story

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.  DOB:  09/30/21 and 01/01/20     Paisley and Phimmey are a bonded pair that were affected by an eviction. The family responsibly took the cats with them, but they spent a few days in a car while a surrender could be arranged. GRASP was able to take them into a foster home mid November.  After being separated for a few days for some vet work and then reunited in their foster home, Paisley became a new kitty. She was clearly happy to see her housemate, becoming much more active and confident. She rubs, follows and flops by Phimmey’s side everywhere he goes. Phimmey was also pleased to see Paisley, and is very tolerant of his little tag-a-long. Paisley is a dainty little thing, weighing only 7 pounds. She is a domestic short hair with calico coloring. She is very sweet. She loves playing with a small felted yarn ball. When petted and cuddled, she purrs like a madwoman.Phimmey arrived weighing 13 pounds, but his hair makes him look 15+. He is a domestic long hair with smokey-grey coloring. Do not dismiss him as another black cat. Sunlight reveals some beautiful red/brown highlights. Brushed just so, his light grey undercoat makes the perfect skunk costume for Halloween. Phimmey is very good at finding places to perch, but he also enjoys sitting within arm’s reach of a human for head scratches. While Paisley and Phimmey are not blood relations, they do seem smitten with one another and they are being listed as a bonded pair. Phimmey appears to dwarf Paisley in size, again with the hair, but seeing them together is like watching a “Big Brother” watch over his “Little Sister.' They love eating, napping and bird-watching together.    Apply to adopt this adorably unique pair today!     This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.  December 19, 2023, 6:57 pm
