My story

　　Estimated DOB: 6/4/23

　　Cute little Pepper came to ACR when she was only three weeks old. Sadly, she had been orphaned, but she has really blossomed! She’s has a goofy personality that will melt your heart! Her foster home is also a home daycare; she spends her days there with kids of all ages, and she loves them all! She is also very attached to having other cats to snuggle and play with. Rarely will you find her snoozing alone -- she likes to be with her friends!

　　Pepper has a mild form of cerebellar hypoplasia, often referred to as CH, which is a developmental condition of the cerebellum, the part the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. In Pepper's case, this results in a bit of a distinctive walk. She can still expect to have a long, healthy life and cannot pass the condition on to other cats.

　　Pepper's main CH-related challenge is getting up on the couch. She truly loves to snuggle in your lap, but getting there can be a struggle. A little boost from her human friends is all she needs, but adjustments like pet stairs or a stool would help her out lot, too!

　　Pepper can be a big goof at times! She’ll bring plenty of smiles to your face, and her unique walk is so endearing. :) She is a wonderful kitty and would do best if she had another kitty friend in the home. Her favorite friends in her foster home are Pongo (her brother), Paddington, Henrietta, and Berry. Pepper genuinely enjoys being with other cats and needs another cat in her forever home to socialize with. You will adore this sweet girl!
