This quantaray 18-55 lens for Nikon is a great functioning lens. I like it the image quality much better then the nikon 18-55 cause it has much less magenta casting. If you are heading somewhere that you do not desire to take your more costly lenses to, for $50 it can be a good go to. It does have a little dust under the glass however nothing I have ever noticed in a shot and I am really picky.
