My story

　　***I am bonded with my brother, Draco. We must be adopted together.******I am still in my foster home with my foster mom. If you`re interested in adopting me, staff will make arrangements for a day and time for you to meet me!***I am a sweet and playful kitten at the Ames Animal Shelter! As you probably know, we kittens have lots of energy! We love to explore and sometimes get into things we aren`t supposed to, so we need you to help show us the ropes. Kittens take some work, but we are totally worth it! Please keep in mind that we kittens are a lot of work and will be more expensive from the start than adult cats. We are a LONG commitment (the average life span is 15 years for a cat) so be sure you`re thinking ahead when you adopt me. But I`m super cute, super fun, and full of love for whoever adopts me!All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
