From a smoke-free home comes this Thorens TD150 MK ll AB turntable & dustcover. The "AB" designation indicates that it originally came with the Thorens TP-13A tonearm. The original owner removed the tonearm and armboard in favor of an SME 3009. He had a custom armboard cut out of solid wood for the SME tonearm. The cue switch was also disconnected and no longer functions.The turntable and plinth are in excellent condition with just a few insignificant minor marks. The turntable works great. A new belt of the correct size was recently installed. The dustcover is in very good condition with just a few marks and minor scratches. Please see photos for actual condition. In addition to the one factory cutout in the back of the dustcover, the previous owner carefully cut out a second section in order to accommodate the slightly longer SME tonearm.No tonearm is included with this listing.There is a flat metal strip that slides into the back of the plinth to support the dustcover. There are no hinges. The dustcover rests on the plinth and the metal support.I would suggest adjusting the suspension once you receive it.Both boxes will ship in one big box.This is a final sale and there are no returns.
