This bike is a rare, real survivor. The 1994 Team Issue was the top-of-the-line frame with Tange Prestige Ultimate tubing. It is a very light frame even by today's standards. Alignment is spot on.This bike features a mix of Shimano Deore XT and LX components, plus a few beautiful additions: - A functional Mag 21 SL Ti suspension fork- A Phil Wood Titanium bottom bracket- A feathery light Uno seatpost (with the shield logo)This bike is a 17" frame. It has original paint with several chips and scuffs, but NO DENTS. I put on new decals in several areas. It's not a true restoration to factory specs...it's a bike that was ridden in mountain biking's hey-day and then hung up. The chain is of the correct era and has good life left in it. It has a period correct XT cassette, not a modern cheap replacement. The titanium railed saddle is original. It even has 737 SPDs!As a life-long, professional bicycle mechanic, I touched just about everything on this bike to make sure it functions as well as it shows. I gave it a couple short shake-down rides and now it's ready for someone else who will love it. It hits every shift, every time. The suspension works. The brakes stop well and have the lever feel only available with 90s Shimano parts.The only shortcomings are some flaking finish on one leg of the fork and the age of the tires (if you intend to ride it).Throw your favorite tires on and ride it!
