Vivian's story

　　Vivian is a joyful, gentle, little cat who readily warms up to people. She likes interaction, and she is also content just to sit near you as you read, watch TV, or spend time on the internet. She has a small voice and a big heart. She did not play at all for the first week after she came in off the street. She was very tired, hungry, and thirsty. Now she plays a lot! She amuses herself with toys, and she enjoys playing with people, too. She comes running when her name is called. Vivian can become friends with other cats who give her a chance. She had a very scary encounter with a large, aggressive dog and has not been around any dogs while in foster. She would need a very slow introduction to a dog, and the dog would have to be pretty mellow. Like many rescue cats, Vivian is grateful to have an indoor foster home now, and she has gradually made herself at home enough to sleep curled up on the rug next to her fosters bed. She has been exploring the sofa pillows and other adventures in indoor living. Her sister, Abigail, became a lap cat within about a month in her new home, and Vivian has the same loving temperament. She is such a nice cat!
