　　This handsome boy is no other than Critter! This sweethearted boy was found abandoned in the desert along with his sister, Cricket (also a TCWN's foster- see her profile). When they were finally caught, it became very apparent that these two had never been socialized around people or dogs...and being very traumatized by their early life experiences led them to be very weary of people and new situations. In the last two months, with the help of many wonderful people and trainers, they have come a long way. They now are being fostered in a household with five other dogs (both male and female, ranging in ages). They have gotten along quite well with the other dogs in the house and are rather respectful of their space. However, Critter still needs quite a bit more socialization, so he will need an empathetic yet firm soul to guide him into being the awesome dog that all of us at TCWN's knows he can be. Training has been good for him, and he has mastered commands such as sit, focus, and touch that. We are continuing his training at the current time. We also found that he is extremely fond of flirt poles, and is really learning how to play like a true dog. He will chase it for hours if you let him...which is good for both training purposes as well as getting him the exercise he really needs. He has currently not been cat tested, but that can be done at some point. Critter loves going for walks and taking rides in the car. He is extremely affectionate and loving and follows his people all around the house. He is crate trained, UTD on immunizations, neutered, microchipped, and housebroken...and is food motivated, so positive reinforcement training works very well with him. It was very apparent that, like his sister, this boy has never really known what it truly means to be mans best friend...simply because he was never given the opportunity to do so.
