Description

We are looking for a bright and innovative Aviation Executive who can come on board and be part of our TC Support team. You'll have the amazing opportunity to reach your potential among some of the most talented people in travel.

The successful Aviation Executive will be a multi-skilled executive with experience in IATA airline reservations & ticketing to work as part of a successful service-based team responsible for providing support to our home-based Travel Counsellors.

As an Aviation Executive, you will offer excellent knowledge of all airfares and possess a good geographical awareness to assist with making reservations, recalculating amendments and processing refunds, and have the ability to issue and reissue tickets.

Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaking complex reservations on scheduled airlines for our Travel CounsellorsPutting together complex itineraries using manual contracts where requiredAdvising on different airfare types & fare rulesAwareness of Phenix flight functionalityAdvising on best routings/airlinesUnderstanding the minimum ground arrangements required for our negotiated ITX faresGiving the applicable codes to ensure extended ticketing time limits achievedReceiving airline communication & distributing where necessaryBooking BA groups using BA drop-throughAssisting with Galileo entries & supporting our GDS users to use the resource more effectivelyAdvising Travel Counsellors of airline schedule changes & sourcing alternativesEnsuring published and consolidated tickets are issued accurately and efficientlyAmending and recalculating voluntary changes according to fare rulesReissuing tickets in the case of voluntary & involuntary changesBuilding and issuing tickets on group bookingsQueue management - understanding ticketing time limits & reading vendor remarksProcessing of airline refunds via GDS & BSPlink - awareness of the accuracy requiredReviewing & investigating ADMs received - understanding airline rules & policies to be able to dispute in a timely mannerUpdating files appropriatelyBenefitsA competitive basic salary + annual company bonusFlexible hybrid working model (2 days home, 3 days office)Career development and promotional opportunities25 days holidays (increasing to 28 after 5 years of service)A Moments That Matter Day (annually)Enhanced maternity/paternity payHoliday buy and sell3 paid days charity leaveCompany events, socials, and incentives3 x death in serviceCompany pension schemeCostco membershipSalary sacrifice, company car schemeFree breakfast, fruit, and hot/cold beveragesReferral schemeEmployee discountEssential SkillsTo be successful in this Aviation Executive role, you will:
