This 1978 Honda 550K four-cylinder has been modified into the cafe racer configuration. I was told that this is a retro configuration done in the 80s. I have owned this bike for 8 years and have built it up to be a fine-tuned machine with no issues besides general maintenance for a 40-year-old bike. Currently tuned to run a little rich which provides more low-end power and some fun torque. Recent updates include,Replaced chain, rotors, sprockets, tires, and the seat in the last 3 years and this year changed spark plugs, oil change, rebuild of front brake caliper, and rebuild of front brake cylinder. A really fun bike to zip around town! The reason for selling is that I am getting older and am not finding the time to ride like I used to. I hope this can go to a good home and put a smile on someone else's face for a while!
