Belgian - Caramel - Large - Adult - Female - Horse

　　Caramel is a 18-year-old 15'2 hh Belgian/Quarter horse cross mare rescued from a from a closing Premarin farm. In her previous situation Caramel was never given the opportunity to become a great horse, and suffered from years of neglect. Having never met a nice, gentle person before coming to H.O.R.S.E. of CT she was fearful of many things. Years later Caramel has come a long way, she loves to go on hand-walks through the trails or down the street and works very hard at being brave. Though she is a little nervous of new people at first, carrots and apples are sure to win her affection. She will stand happily for grooming, especially if you can find her favorite scratching spots! Caramel gets along well with all friendly horses and would make an excellent companion. Due to tendon issues in her legs Caramel is not going to be rideable, but she is still looking for the right quiet, experienced, and patient person to give her the perfect home.
