　　BELLA(SPECIAL NEEDS)

　　**A special needs dog can range anywhere from the elderly or injured in need of daily medication to the disabled requiring special restrictions and to the socially challenged in need of a patient and experienced owner.

　　The dogs here have a second chance at life because of Arizona Chihuahua Rescue. We believe EVERY dog has an owner out there who will love them, care for them and accept them just the way they are.

　　Bella is 5 yrs old and has diabetes. Her owner got her as a 6 week old pup and was told she was pure Chi, which is obviously not true. Chi/pom maybe???

　　When she was diagnosed with diabetes her owner surrendered her because she felt it would be impossible to take proper care of her given the family's schedule.

　　Bella is a snuggler and a lover. Her favorite human in our house is my 22 yr old son.

　　She does not like her shots and when she knows it is time for one she tries to hide. Insulin is not very expensive. She gets two injections daily. She will probably be available in September after her blood sugars are more stable.
