　　Shadow is a unique and gentle kitty that is a sweet gal, friendly and affectionate, yet a bit reserved. Her solid black coat, long fur and green eyes make her stand out in a crowd. There is a relaxed nature about her, yet with increased contact and a positive and gentle human touch, she becomes more animated and friendly. Shadow enjoys being petted, sitting on laps, being held and she tolerates being groomed. Shadow is shy, quiet, and a bit timid at first but with time she develops trust, so go slow. Shadow was surrendered to the Placer SPCA with her brother Draco. These two may be older, but that just means that they are wiser and more experienced. Shadow is less outgoing than her brother Draco but she holds her own. They were raised together their entire life and MUST be adopted together. They are a perfect pair and depend upon each other. Her previous owners say that she used a pet door to go between the house and the outdoors and that she knows her name and comes when called. Shadow likes balls to play with and will sometimes 'ambush' bugs and even the family dog when they are playing. Shadow likes to snuggle and will walk between your feet for attention. She was raised with other dogs and cats and with a slow introduction she could share her new home with other furry friends and family members. Children in the home should be at least 7 years of age. An ideal home for Shadow is one where she can be both indoors and outdoors and a part of a loving family that will give her and her brother Draco a second chance and a new furever home. Shadow and Draco will bring you much love and companionship.
