Description

  King Kuka (1) was a graduate of the Institute of American Indian Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico and a leader in the Native American Art Community. He worked in many medias from sculpture to his famous "Kuka-graphs" of which this is an example.The hand painted shield has four embossed feathers hanging from it with the right feather painted, The high-quality rag paper measures 7 1/2 x 5 1/2" inches and is mounted on a 12" x10" acid free mat with mounting board. King's signature is on the lower left. Ready to be framed.
