King Kuka (1) was a graduate of the Institute of American Indian Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico and a leader in the Native American art community. He worked in many medias from sculpture to his famous "Kuka-graphs" of which this is an example.His artwork is in prestigious museums both national and international as well as private collections world wide.The original painting depicts an eagle carrying his fresh caught fish over the embossed mountain pine trees below.  The high-quality rag paper measures 7 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is mounted on a 10" x 12" acid free mat and mounting board.
