Rudy is an 8 year old boy that came to us when his owners fell on hard times and could no longer take care of him. He is a sweet, mellow, friendly boy that gets along with everyone, including other dogs. Rudy's only challenge is that he is terribly overweight and needs a lot of exercise and to be kept on a strict diet until we can get his weight down. He will snuggle and love his way into your heart.

　　We have an adoption application, we do a home safety visit, and have an adoption agreement once an animal has been adopted. Our adoption fees are $350. $400 for puppies. Our dogs are vet checked, spayed/neutered, heart worm tested, microchipped, and vaccinated.

　　NorCal Cocker Rescue, Inc. was established in 2013 by a group of experienced and dedicated animal welfare volunteers. Based in Sacramento, and serving the greater Northern California area, NorCal works with public shelters to place at risk Cocker Spaniels and Spaniel mixes in loving forever homes, and also serves as a resource regarding the unique needs of the Cocker Spaniel breed. NorCal Cocker Rescue is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit Corporation, registered in the State of California. We do not have a facility. All of our dogs are in foster homes.
