　　At 11 1/2-years-old and weighing less than 6lbs, Tico is a force to be reckoned with! Tico came to the SSPCA in pretty rough shape--he had an untreated thyroid condition, his jaw was broken in multiple places, and he was in desperate need of a dental--thanks to our amazing veterinary team and Tico's wonderful foster mom, he is now ready for his forever home.

　　With his endearingly grouchy personality Tico has won over everyone at the shelter. He takes some time to warm up to new people and enjoys pets and attention on his terms only. Tico is content laying next to you on the couch or beside you in his doggy bed. Tico's favorite pastime is sunbathing in the yard. He gets along fabulously with other dogs, but does try to chase kitties. Due to his small stature, he may do OK with a very tolerant cat. Due to his age and personality, Tico would do best in an adult-only home.
