My story

　　  Hello, my name is Willie or 'Wilbur' if I'm feelin' fancy. I will admit, I possess a 'deer in headlights' look. It's pretty much just my natural state. You know how some people have RBF? Well, I have RCF or 'resting confusion face'. I have a goofy personality to match my goofy looks.  My foster mom thinks it's one of my most redeeming qualities.  I also lack in gracefulness. While playing outside, I like to imagine that I am running smoothly like a gazelle with the largest stick I can find. In reality, I resemble more of a horse wearing invisible clown shoes. 

　　I've made great strides since coming to the Humane Society. I was lacking in socialization and very unsure of my surroundings. I didn't know how to play with toys, and I had never snuggled with anyone before. Now, I will approach for tummy rubs and relax on the couch with you! I love to play with toys, and I am much more confident! I still startle easily, but we're working on it one day at a time! I do well with my foster mom's dog. I don't mind cats either, if anything, I'd like to play with them! I could definitely go to a home with furry siblings. I'm still a baby which we can contribute to some of my goofy behavior. I'm around 6 months old. We think I am a boxer mix, but we aren't entirely sure. I certainly resemble one! I weigh 32 pounds right now and probably won't get much bigger than 50 pounds as an adult. I am doing well with housetraining, though I do have 'nervous pees' from time to time when I get really excited. 

　　I would adore a home of my own for the holidays and well..forever!!! I promise that, if you are willing to work with me and be patient, I will make you a fantastic canine companion. I'm already a good boy and know that you'll fall in love the first time you meet me.
