My story

　　Meet Winnie! An adorable, 2 & 1/2 month old, terrier mix.

　　Winnie is a smart and excited to please puppy who will be a great addition to any family who is ready for the fun and work that a puppy brings. She is the sweetest cuddler and loves to play fetch.

　　Winnie is confident and feisty! She has been quick to learn to use bells on the door to let us know she needs to go out and do her business. She is crate trained, never going to the bathroom in it, while away for the day and overnight. Winnie watches her foster sisters closely and would do great with another dog in the house who likes to play and who can model good behavior for her to learn from. As with all puppies, she may do better in a home without small children who may not be able to understand how to redirect normal puppy nipping.

　　Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

　　We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners.

　　Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
