959 Harley Davidson, model XLH, Sportster in outstanding restored condition. I would say this bike is 95% original and would be easy to bring to 100% oem/show standards if so inclined, but it's very nice and ridable just the way it is....this bike was rebuilt by a skilled XL/K model mechanic in Pittsburgh several years back, what it needed was replaced and what was fine was left alone....starts easy in just a few kicks if the procedure is followed correctly, since this is a timer ignition....not the impossible to start magneto XLCH from the same era.....the bike is equipped with an oem auto advance timer ( for easy operation ) but i have the manual advance timer that will go with it....this bike is not perfect, it is in very nice condition and I enjoy riding it often....paint has minor imperfections, some older and original chrome, 1959 correct matching belly numbers on case halves, right lower case half has a professionally weld repaired crack (many old sportsters have had this issue).....comes with d.c.linkert carb., fully functional 6 volt electrical system with maintenance free battery, resettable trip odometer on built-in speedo, front crash bar with h.d highway pegs, center stand, side stand and oem luggage rack....remember that this is a 56 year old machine....kick start only, right side 4 speed shift and stock suicide throttle...it is a hands on riding experience. Comes with original owners manual, parts manual, warranty card and manual timer...There were about 940 of these built and most are long gone....these hardly ever come up for sale and never as nice as this one....
