　　For the first time ever, Grammy-nominated Platinum recording artist Ed Sheeran w/ Christina Perri & Jamie Lawson will hit Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX on Saturday, September 5 in one of his biggest American shows ever.

　　The Ed Sheeran live experience is just him and a guitar. His show is one man and a guitar, perhaps, but it delivers a huge range of emotions and textures. Utilising his trademark loop station to spellbinding effect

　　a device that allows him to layer his guitar and vocals on top of one-another, essentially sampling himself live

　　Sheeran can flit from intimate troubadour to full-on freak out with the push of a button.

　　The sonic scope ranges from the acoustic angst-rock of opener Im A Mess and the raging, confessional Bloodstream, to the spiteful critic-baiting boy-rap Take it Back and the vengeful Dont. The latter, an ode to a celebrity lover who betrayed him, is a wicked case study in turning heartbreak into pop gold.

　　The biggest reaction however was to the balladeer Ed, the sensitive boy-next-door of Lego House, Kiss Me and set-closer Give Me Love, all performed amid torrents of hyperventilating teenage squeals.

　　The x Tour is the second world concert tour by English singer-songwriter and musician Ed Sheeran in support of his second album x (pronounced "multiply"). The tour began in Osaka, Japan on August 6, 2014 and will continue through Europe, the Americas, Oceania and Asia until December 2015, where the tour will end in New Zealand. So far, Sheeran has planned 179 shows.

　　Sheeran, who recently turned 24, is growing up in public, sharing his innermost thoughts and feelings with the world

　　and largely getting it right.

　　The beautiful thing about an Ed Sheeran concert isnt so much the effortless manner in which he interacts with fans. Though who couldnt be swayed by his regular-guy charm coupled with that Suffolk, England accent? It also isnt so much the repertoire of beautiful songs hes crafted at a mere 23 years old

　　a collection of simple, yet elegant declarations of love that are heartfelt, yes, but also have the residual effect of making teenage girls swoon

　　Sheeran is, at times, an angelic singer and a nimble wordsmith (his rapid-fire one-two punch of Dont blended with Blackstreets No Diggity illustrated his deft rhyming skills). But hes always at his tousle-haired finest when crooning a slice of musical poetry such as Lego House or One, the tortured love song that opens his current album, x (pronounced multiply).

　　Although Sheeran clearly upped the production backdrop on this tour and performed under a cluster of sliding video panels and effective lighting, his show hasnt changed much from his club days.
