My story

　　Hello! My name is Tasha - thanks for clicking on my profile picture! Let me tell you a little bit about me so that we can get to know one another better.

　　I am a 3-year-old lady who is super smart and playful if I do say so myself! I have super soft and luscious fur that I enjoy having gently pet by the humans I trust. I like to play with toys, am agile and can easily jump up on the couch to sit next to you, and am doing well with learning to potty outside or on pee pads in the house. I'm spayed, HW negative, current on all of my vaccines, microchipped, and got a good report from the doggy doctor! I'm an independent little lady who is perfectly fine playing by myself for a bit, or sitting next to you. I'm not super snuggly, but, I will sit with you on the couch next to you for a nap. I definitely am not a 'purse dog!" I like to run around my foster home's fenced yard and always keep my eye out for birds, squirrels, or cats that may try to take over the yard. I make sure to let them hear my bark telling them they are definitely not welcome here! I get along OK with most other dogs who don't mind a vocal play partner. My foster mom says that I probably didn't learn how to play properly as a pup as I am very vocal when I play which can sound scary. I would do best in a home that either had no other dogs, or had another mellow dog who wouldn't mind my loud playing and will let me share their toys. My foster dad says I would not be a good fit for a house with cats, small kids under the age of 12, or an apartment or condo.

　　I would really love a home with a fenced yard that I could explore while being supervised, but I would be OK with a family who would take me for a few leashed walks each day and play fetch with me in the house.
