My story

　　Everyone loves Taters, right?

　　Because we have a 2 year old, 45lb little meatball named Tater looking for his forever home! He is located outside of Nashville, TN but we do adopt out of state to the right home.

　　Tater is an excitable little guy, who enjoys playing with toys and going for walks. He’s crate, leash, and potty trained. Because he has a lot of energy, he does well in a home with clear boundaries and expectations. He can become overstimulated, resulting in reactivity at doors and gates, but when kept on leash he does very well. Tater will need to be crated when home alone so that he does not become anxious. He doesn’t like being away from his people, but luckily, he’s a great shotgun rider and loves going to dog friendly places like TSC and Home Depot.

　　He does like other dogs, but because of his excitable nature, he would do best in a home with a confident dog that doesn’t mind a rougher play style. However, he would be perfectly content soaking up all of your attention as a solo pup.

　　Tater’s favorite things in life are peanut butter, interactive toys, benebones and tug-o-war rope toys. However, if there are other dogs in the house, it is best to let Tater enjoy his toys and bones in his crate, as he can be protective of his belongings with other animals. This behavior is being addressed and he has made small steps in the right direction!

　　Tater is a very happy dog and has the best of intentions. He would do best with an owner that is experienced with bully breeds, home more often than not and is excited to continue his training.
