  I tried. I tried to get my wife into MTB with a super nice bike and it didn’t work. She rode this machine a total of 4 times and all 4 rides were on a paved path by our house. The parting line rubber is still between the knobs!Admittedly I went a little crazy on the build for a first time(in a long time) bike. Even if the frame is too small the purchase is worth the parts alone! Specs are belowMarin Rift Zone alloy frame, XS My wife is 5’2”Manitou Mezzer Pro fork. Travel set at 150 but can be dropped to 140 or extended to 180 in minutesManitou Mara Pro shock.
