My story
My name is Pearl and I’m a sweet senior. I cannot hear or see clearly, but when it’s light I can see shadows. My nose works amazing. I love playing with my snuffle mat. I’m very smart and I clearly make my way around my fosters house since they have textured rugs next to my food bowl and my kennel so I can tell where I am. Im potty trained if you let me out every 4 hours or so and I go all night when i am sleeping. I free feed on food all day, but I bet if I was on a schedule I’d be able to hold my bladder better. As soon as you tap me twice on the shoulder then take me outside on the grass I go potty right away. I think I do this so you’ll pick me up and bring me back in right away because I'm from south Carolina and it’s freezing here!!! Since my foster family puts me back in the same spot when I get in the house, I always know where I will be. I love sleeping in my comfy bed. I am fine with other animals as long as they don’t try to take my food away. I'm very protective however if we take turns at the food bowl, then I am fine.

As a rescue, we provide the
care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal. Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation. Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days. Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support! December 9, 2023, 1:33 pm
