　　From the Foster Family: Bama will be a wonderful addition to any family!  She is an absolute joy to have around.  She loves all people and is happy to show you affection by giving you sweet kisses.  She would love it if you would return the affection by giving her belly rubs, those are her jam!  She is such a smart girl and enjoys playing with challenging toys, like the ones you put little treats in and she has to find them.  She has a nice balance of playful energy and laziness.  She gets the zoomies and runs around crazy but then she’ll take a nap.  She really likes being outside and going for walks.  She’s doing great on a leash!  If you want to avoid putting on the holiday weight, this girl will help you.  Get up and take her for a walk!  Then she’ll take a good ol’ nap.  A fenced-in yard would be great for her but it’s not required.  She is fully potty trained and will scratch at the door or bark when she has to go out.  She knows how to “sit” on command and if she gets a little overly excited, we just tell her to “stop” and she will sit or lay down.  Bama does great with other dogs.  Her foster in AL had 7 others in her home and she played very well with them.  She is happy to sleep wherever she is comfortable at night and right now she is on our couch on a few blankets.  She sleeps through the night with no issues.  During the day she likes to lay on her doggie bed and watch the birds and squirrels out the window.  She is a beautiful pup and will make a great addition to any family. 

　　About Me: Hi, my name is Bama (because I came up from Alabama!) and I just recently made the trip up to MN and I am loving it here!  The south might have been nice and warm but I am a Shepherd mix so the cold doesn’t really bother me.  I love going for walks.  I think I am very well-mannered.  I will go to the door and let you know when I have to go out, I will wait patiently for my treats and if I get a little too excited I need a quick reminder and then I will lay down and wait.  I cannot wait to find my furever home and I promise you will not be disappointed.  I have so much love to give any family if you just show some of that love in return.  Please consider filling out an application to meet me.  December 13, 2023, 9:08 pm
